yeah you guys went through hell and back for your team and deserve every second you have with it. Seattle fans and the city of seattle are the ones to blame for losing your team by not going to games and by having a corrupt government.

  2. okcthunder2 | 30/07/09

why would the okc thunder move that would be a bad descion by the nba to move an nba team out of okc the okc fans support your team better they sell out every night and you dont move sell out teams loser go get a life seattlite

  3. okcthunder2 | 2/08/09

dude okc deserves nba why do you settlites think that okc doesn’t deserve an nba team. okc has enogh people

This still boggles my mind that Oklahoma City has a NBA team. They had to take the green and gold to get it, well at least Seattle keeps the names, history, colors.

It fucking sucks that shitty franchises that have sucked for years like the Grizzles or even decades like the Clippers still exist, but a nba staple like the Supersonics got to go.

NBA = Where fixed games happen and relocation happens. Stern has to go. Since MJ retired in 98, Stern has turned the league into a joke.

i heard gary payton wants 2 start the team up

I know I posted this on another video but….

Aubrey McClendon’s company, Chesapeake, has to sell off its assets because they are 12 billion in the hole.

The probability of a lockout is at 60%.

The economy and cheap oil has killed Clay Bennett’s worth.

Oklahoma City is looking at a possible relocation in 2014.

    Where payback happens.

David Stern’s final act of incompetence was allowing this to take place. Seattle is a great NBA market, much better than OKC. Stern gets so petulant any time a city refuses to immediately kowtow to demands for a new arena. I watched it happen in Houston, when Stern would show up once a month to do interviews threatening that the Rockets were going to Louisville if a new arena wasn’t approved. Really made me hate him, and this sealed the deal. Dumb move for the NBA.

    the sonics are immortal…

  9. UtahJazzFan04 | 11/08/09

if the Jazz left i would feel horrible
Seattle needs to become a team again
i hate the thunder (THEY DONT DESERVE CAPITAL LETTERS)

He He… they were my Cinderella team :) But yeah…. close loss by a very good Purdue team.

Oh! I actually saw that! I love soccer, and I’m just exciting that soccer has started to take a leap here and there in the US. They won their opener didn’t they?

  11. the12thfactor | 15/08/09

you put the huskies in the championship game?!
wow, that was risky! I put them in the sweet sixteen!
I agree with everything you said above!

btw, the sounders are our new soccer team. I’m not big on soccer, but it’s exciting we have a new team thats winning!

  12. spamuel615 | 17/08/09

Indeed, but I don’t know if housmadzadeh will help or create problems :P Just an opinion. The o line is definitely the bigger concern. If they can protect Hasselback… The mariners should be good as long as the franchise doesn’t sell their players away after a year….. they always had good players but ended up trading them away. I don’t know what the sounders are. not a Seattle native. The huskies screwed my bracket up :( I put them going to the championship game :( Wish the best for the city

  13. the12thfactor | 17/08/09

lol OKC will never be one of the best.

  14. the12thfactor | 20/08/09

seattle is on the rise. seahawks now have housmandzadeh, plus our o line is being worked on. The mariners has JR, plus our pitching and outfielding looks outstanding. The sounders won their first game 3-0! And the huskies won the pac 10. I’m tellin you, seattle is gonna show all of them we have what it takes!

  15. spamuel615 | 22/08/09

Seattle’s a great city regardless of their crappy sports, but their sports will come back

  16. ad287 | 25/08/09

Damn, I guess some of you are gonna be pretty upset when OKC becomes one of the top teams in the league, along with being known for great fans and great game atmosphere, basically, the new Utah, except we just might win a championship some day. We might just end up being somewhere in between Utah and San Antonio. Don’t think it can’t happen, becuz it has with other franchises, those two are a perfect example of smaller markets having success. Durant ain’t goin nowhere, trust me. He won’t need to

  17. bosniandude03 | 25/08/09

dam i cant believe theyre gone, maybe one day our sonics will be back..maybe.

  18. cash4goldladylover | 26/08/09

Enjoy Durant until he leaves for a real city after his first contract runs out!

  19. cash4goldladylover | 29/08/09

OKC= tornado ridden shithole with an NBA team run by the cast of the movie deliverance.” queue dueling banjos “

  20. the12thfactor | 1/09/09

this fuckin blows. the only team to ever bring us a championship.
we are the laughing stock of sports nation. espn loves bombing us. so do all the other fans. I wish seattle would win it all, baseball, football, hell, junior hockey!
we need respect, and hope of that is declining. We are a city that needs more spark.

    but hey, griffey’s back! :)

  21. the12thfactor | 3/09/09

dude, seattle has more spark then you will ever have. You will never understand the love for our team here. Seattle had some great years, but you choose to ignore that. Don’t say we have no spark, you have no idea.

also, OKC doesn’t seem to have any spark either. from what I’m seeing, your team is getting killed. Seattle is much more deserving of a team, OKC is an unimportant, no namer city no one really cares about!

  22. marners100 | 7/09/09

They can take our team but just not our memories.

  23. stball95 | 9/09/09

I heard we were gonna buy the Blazers or Kings…

  24. TheRatedIX7 | 10/09/09

Yeah OKC has a lot of potential. But potential won’t always buy you the groceries. You have to get it done and they’re not doin’ so good right now so they have yet to prove themselves it’ll be a year or so before you see some improvement.
